Building Apache and PHP

This section contains a set of step-by-step tutorials describing how to compile and install Apache & PHP on several Unix/Linux flavours.

Unlike most howtos you may find on the net, those ones also detail how to build every component and library Apache and PHP depend on, reducing the external dependencies on the target machine to the bare minimum (best for ISPs, server farms, NAS architectures...).

In order to keep these documents as reliable as possible, please keep me informed of any problem you may meet when using them (post a comment or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. When everything is fine for you, you may also post a small comment with a short description of your architecture, it also helps a lot.
